Echocardiography of mitral regurgitation. Flail mitral valve caused by infective endocarditis.
Features of TGA:
1) Great vessels side-by side instead of criss-crossed.
2) Aorta arises from the RV(feature of aorta:arch, coronary aretery come off)).
3) Pulmonary artery arises from the LV(feature of PA:bifurcates).
4) Aorta is anterior to the pulmonary artery.
Whole-heart coronary MRI, a technique that is somewhat analogous to coronary CT angiography, has emerged as a promising approach for the noninvasive evaluation of the coronary arteries.
