Placenta: Maternal & Fetal Sides

 A pair of placentas places side by side to show the two surfaces of placenta. Maternal surface of the left placenta is displayed (cotyledons can be seen), and the fetal surface of the placenta on the right is displayed (umbilical cord can be seen arising from here).
