De Quervain's tenosynovitis results from inflammation of the common sheath of the tendons that control the movement of the thumb; Abductor pollicis longus (APL) and Extensor pollicic brevis (EPB) .Finkelstein's test is used to diagnose De Quervain's tenosynovitis.
