A. Isoenzymes of Creatinine Kinase (CK), 3 in number

  • CK1---BB--Brain
  • CK2---MB--Heart
  • CK3---MM--Sketal Muscles

 

Think:"Our brain is at top & our heart is in middle"

Thus, CK1 is for Brain & CK2 is for Heart.

 

B. Isoenzymes of Lactate Dehydrogenase (LDH), 5 in number

  • L1---HHHH--Heart
  • L2---HHHM--RBC/Heart
  • L3---HHMM--Brain
  • L4---HMMM--Liver
  • L5---MMMM--Sketal Muscles

 

For 'LDH', the earlier mnemonic will be reversed,

 Think: ''Ladies (LDH) like people with Heart much more than people with Brains"
