  • Tibialis anterior   (O: tibia)        Muscle compartments of Leg
  • Extensor Hallucis longus   (O: fibula)
  • Extensor Digitorum longus   (O: tibia)
  • Fibularis (peroneus) Tertius   (O: fibula)

Innervation: Deep FIBular (peroneal) nerve

 

 

O: Origin (from tibia and fibula)

Action: Mainly concerned with dorsiflexion of the foot (ankle joint) plus other actions.
