  • Stratum Basale
  • Stratum Spinosum
  • Stratum Granulosum
  • Stratum Lucidum (found in palmo-plantar skin)
  • Stratum Corneum

Also remember, Basale is the base/deepest layer as the name denotes.

Temperature of human skin is 32-34 C (90-93 F). It is also the temperature at which Mycobacterium Leprae grows best.
Normal turnover time of epidermis is 4 weeks. Now, can you guess the turnover time in Psoriasis? It is 4 days!
Melanocytes are present in Stratum Basale.
Dermatophytosis (fungal infections) are usually restricted to the Stratum Corneum layer of the skin.

Esthiomene refers to vaginal and rectal stricture and elephantiasis of vulva.
Frei test is an immunological test in which reaction to antigens injected intradermally were read after 1-2days. The test is no longer used to detect LGV.
The 'groove' in the Groove sign refers to the depression that separates the enlarged inguinal and femoral nodes. The groove overlies the inguinal ligament which separates the two groups of nodes.
