Pes anserinus

"Say Grace before Tea"

Insertion of the tendons forming "pes anserinus"  to the anterior surface of the medial tibial condyle are (from anterior to posterior) :

  • Sartorius
  • Gracilis and
  • Semi Tendinosus

 

Also, "SGT FOT" to remember the nerve supply to the muscles

  • Sartorius- Femoral nerve
  • Gracilis- Obturator nerve
  • Semi Tendinosus- Tibial nerve
